These cards are typically distributed during the flight. However, should you not receive one, please do ask a member of the cabin crew. Alternatively, spare forms are available at the airport terminal just before the immigration counters or at the passport control.

If you're only staying in the Sinai region (such as Sharm El Sheikh or Dahab) for up to 15 days, you can get a free entry stamp on arrival. However, if you're planning to stay longer or explore other parts of Egypt like Cairo or Luxor, we recommend applying for an e-Visa online before you travel.

Transport from the Airport

To make your arrival as smooth as possible, we’ve arranged for you to be met at the airport. Once you’ve cleared customs, please look out for your driver directly outside the main entrance, holding a sign saying “Nora & Benedikt”. Depending on arrival times, you may be sharing your transfer to the hotel with other wedding guests.

It’s a 1 hour drive to the hotel.

Cash upon arrival

The local currency is the Egyptian Pound (EGP), with a current exchange rate of approximately 65 EGP to 1 CHF. Please note that there is a strict limit of 5,000 EGP (per person) for bringing local currency into or out of the country.
