general information
Dresscode Wedding:
Summer Casual Chic
Our vibe for the day is Summer Casual Chic – relaxed, airy and elegant.
Keep it Sharp: While we’re keeping it relaxed, we’d love to see you looking your best – A crisp shirt (Hemd) or a summer dress is perfect; ties and jackets are welcome but completely optional
Evening Chill: Once the sun goes down, it can get a bit chilly – A light scarf or a sakko/blazer might come in handy for the evening
Dresscode Beduin & Nubian Night:
Beduin desert home visit
For this short visit, we recommend comfortable or sporty clothing. We also suggest bringing something long-sleeved with you.
An Evening of Tradition
To celebrate our family’s - and local culture, we’ll be hosting a themed evening. Many guests have asked about the dress code for the beduin/nubian night, so we can arrange a traditional white Galabeya for you if you’d like to join in.
Just send us your shoulder width and neck-to-ankle length (cm) to order. Alternatively, feel free to wear your own festive attire – the main thing is that you're comfortable.
For the ladies: elegant but relaxed.
Henna - ليلة الحناء
Henna is a cherished tradition, particularly during wedding celebrations, where guests come together to share in symbolic and intricate designs. You're more than welcome to take part, but there's no pressure at all. It’s entirely optional.
We recommend attending a quick patch test on Saturday evening to rule out any potential allergies. Our henna artist will then be available on Sunday morning to apply your chosen designs, with a variety of beautiful motifs for you to choose from.
Wedding Gifts
Your presence is the greatest gift of all.
For those who’ve asked, since we already have all the pots and pans we could ever need, we’ve decided to focus on making memories instead. Should you wish to mark the occasion with a gift, a contribution towards our honeymoon or a special evening out would be lovely – but please feel no obligation at all.
